Cirencester U3A All Boules have entered a new knockout competition called the Western Challenge Cup. They were at home on Sunday 23rd March in St Michaels Park against “The Clangers” from Nailsea. The games were mostly close with The Clangers winning 4-1. Cirencester All Boules now play in the plate competition against Wanborough PC in St. Michaels park on Sunday 8th June 10:30am. Tha games were well contested and the score was 2-2 with 1 game to finish. In that game the score got to 12 all but Ciren lost out on the last boule to be thrown losing 12-13. The match result was Ciren 2 - 3 Wanborough The Gotherington Invitational doubles competition was held on Sunday 27th April 2025. 3 Teams have entered from Cirencester U3A with “A load of boules” Dave Wright and Jef Wickes coming 13th, “Freemart Players” John Smart and Paul Freke coming 15th and “Original Fakes” Tony and Kathy Fakes coming 16th.
